Clinton National Airport | Little Rock, AR
System Description
Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT) is Arkansas’s largest commercial airport, with nearly 2.2 million passengers annually. NextGen Parking was selected and engaged to engineer and replace the Airports existing PARCs system. LIT utilized previous generation Federal APD equipment and was in need of an equipment upgrade and technology enhancements. The scope included the replacement of 42 lanes of parking access and revenue control systems, AVI Readers and the addition of License Plate Recognition functionality. Additionally, NextGen integrated a complete Parking Reservation System that allows for parkers convenient pre-pay options, including QR code technology to scan in and out of the each parking facility. NextGen also delivered, installed and integrated an 860 space parking guidance system on site for ease of parking for its patrons. A key initiative for this Airport was to become EMV Compliant within a very short time frame, requiring the installation and configuration of chip and pin credit card readers to be installed and live within weeks of the contract date. NextGen delivered the project on time and according to the aggressive schedule that the Airport required. NextGen is responsible for service, support and maintenance of all parking systems installed at LIT.

UTSW | Dallas, TX
Sytem Description
The largest healthcare campus in Dallas’ Medical District, UT Southwestern Medical Center (www.utsouthwestern.edu) in 2017 hired NextGen Parking to implement the next generation Designa Abacus platform in 50 lanes across 6 garages as part of a 3-year project. The fully-automated system is hosted in NextGen’s commercial cloud environment and incorporates a PCI-validated Point-to-point-encrypted (P2PE) payment card solution, removing the system from the scope of PCI PA/DSS. The elimination of cashier terminals not only expedites parker flow, but it allows former cashiers to transition to an ambassador capacity in order to improve guest experience. Additionally, UTSW has partnered with NextGen for service and support of their 53-lane legacy Federal APD/3M Parking Revenue Control System as well as implementation of the CVPS valet management platform at multiple sites.

The Hobby Center | Houston, TX
System Description
The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts is located in the nationally acclaimed Houston Theater District. The theater has hosted many acts such as Wicked, The Lion King, Hamilton and many other Broadway shows. The Hobby Center also utilizes QR/Barcode readers that allow the garage personnel to send out one time use QR codes to cast and crew members for each show. This technology enabled the theater to avoid the costly, management intensive task of issuing and collecting hundreds of HID cards on recurring basis. The Hobby Center Garage has also has the challenge of not only housing cast and crew parkers, but also theater visitors and various government contract parkers. The Designa Abacus system is able to effortlessly manage these three groups, allowing for a seamless transition between business hour parkers and showtime.
